Sunrise East announced on May 30 that the company plans to acquire 100% of the equity of Jiangsu Hels Coating Technology Co., Ltd. (Hels) held by Lianyungang Zhongmi Trading Co., Ltd. for RMB 14.8 million in cash. The transaction constitutes a related-party transaction.
 
Hels is a technology-based enterprise focusing on the research and development and production of high-efficiency flat-plate solar collector absorbers, with internationally leading research and development and production capabilities for solar selective absorption films. The acquisition aims to enhance the company's supply guarantee for solar selective absorption films (black films), reduce raw material procurement costs, and increase operating efficiency.
